THE DRUGSTORE is a mature international action crime comic series set to ignite a social media storm when its 44 page double first issue debuts in 2025.

 

Written by Michael Fred(erick), it’s part Ed Brubaker with a dash of Brian K. Vaughan’s grounded humor brought to gritty life by the vibrant, hyper detailed artwork of Cuong Huynh.

 

Set in an economically depressed near future Houston, a polarized Congress passes a vote to legalize and regulate all drugs in the form of federally run drugstores.

 

The end of prohibition forces Jake Brock, a Percocet addicted undercover DEA agent who’s spent his entire career battling the one thing that took away his pro football dream, to take a job as general manager of the first pilot store.

The political jockeying to control the now licit drug trade and the newly assembled multi-national crime syndicate hell bent on reclaiming their piece of the $36+ trillion dollar business they just lost turn Jake and THE DRUGSTORE into ground zero of the new world order.
